Please bring the following to your first consultation:
Your pupils may be dilated as part of your examination, which can temporarily blur your vision and increase light sensitivity. We recommend arranging for someone to drive you home afterwards.
Panorama Eye welcomes both self-referred patients and patients referred by an optometrist or GP.
Surgical procedures are performed primarily at Cape Eye Hospital (“CEH”), Bellville.

Consultations and procedures require payment upfront on the day. Where applicable, the patient is responsible for claiming back from their medical aid directly.
Cash payments are welcome at the practice – no prior arrangement is necessary.
Mastercard and Visa are accepted. Other card types cannot currently be processed.
Panorama Eye welcomes patients across the major medical aid and gap cover schemes for surgery billed directly to your scheme. As cover varies by plan and procedure, we recommend confirming your specific medical aid and gap cover benefits before your surgery. This billing arrangement applies to surgery only – consultation fees are payable upfront as set out above.
